Nick Cannon said he remains in frequent contact with Mariah Carey to discuss their children. In an interview with Us Weekly, he said they speak almost daily or every other day.
The two were married from 2008 to 2016 and share twins Moroccan and Monroe. Cannon described their relationship after the divorce as friendly and focused on raising their children.
He also praised the way Carey maintains her privacy and keeps important parts of her life away from public scrutiny. In the interview, he credited their time together with teaching him about setting boundaries and limiting outside interference.
