Mariah receives the American Hero award at the Annual Fresh Air Fund gala for her continued activity to benefit the organization and to celebrate her work as founder of Camp Mariah, a retreat for inner city children to explore career development. The benefit (5/29) raised over $1.5 million dollars for The Fresh Air Fund.
