Mariah Carey celebrates album release at NYC nightclub

lp1Mariah Carey returned to Avenue nightclub on Wednesday, nine months after she was injured at the club while filming a music video for “#Beautiful.”

The singer celebrated her new album at the Chelsea hot spot with husband Nick Cannon, Jermaine Dupri and MTV’s Sway and Nessa.

Carey sat with her glam squad entourage of 20 in a corner booth and hopped on the mike to say she was “happy to be back at the venue” where last time she “fell off the bar and separated her shoulder.”

Mariah Connection: Mariah Carey’s new album is scheduled for release in the United States on 6th May, 2014. International release dates are yet to be confirmed
