The website Hit Songs Deconstructed analyzed the top 25 holiday season downloads from 2003 through 2013 and found that Santa Claus is not as popular with songwriters as he is with kids, while streaming service Slacker Radio reveals that 1,474 acts have covered “White Christmas.”
