Mariah Carey has arrived in the country ahead of her first New Zealand performance.
The best-selling female artist of all time was due to make a “private” arrival at Auckland Airport before dawn.
Auckland Airport say there will be no chance for adoring fans to catch a glimpse of the star during her arrival and departure due to “public safety and airport operational concerns”.
The legendary diva has just wrapped up the Australian-leg of her Elusive Chanteuse Show world tour.
She is set to play one show on Thursday night at Auckland’s Vector Arena.
